The Rise and Fall of a Model…

Amidst the voice of swirling scandal, 20-year-old model beauty, Ruslana Korhuova allegedly plunged to her death from her ninth floor Manhattan balcony on Water Street, in the financial district of NYC.  The apparent fall took place Saturday afternoon, June 28th, and while this case is and will be thoroughly investigated by police headquarters and Associated Press, some internet reports are still calling this fashion suicide, purely accidental.  She is just one of many glamorous models diminishing to their mysterious demise, as recently posted though for very different reasons, these beautiful cat-walkers seem to be falling by the wayside.  Without ‘substantial’ evidentiary support to the possibilities of struggle and/or foul play, some reports claim that a nearby skyscraper construction zone may have played part in her balcony descent, though little is certain.  However, in the wake of tragedy, little is also said as to the wellbeing and bereavement of her family and loved ones left behind. Known for her whimsical Rapunzel-esque allure, Russian-born Ruslana has been gracing fashion magazines covers and stomping runways since the youthful age of 15. 

And for all that’s been said and reported to this young women’s mournful death… she seemed an upward spiral to the top of success, as the idea of suicide seems to elude many who knew her.  Under intense spotlights of ever-changing scrutiny, the dynamics of beauty, and the fashion industry, leaves one in a state of bewilderment while wondering… who’s next?
