Fashion Jury Duty

Contrary to popular (or rather mythical) belief, celebrities are not perfect… and in fact, many don’t claim to be.  This reality is proven when, occasionally, their distinct fashion awareness seems a bit off kilter.  But just because they are under constant scrutiny, doesn’t necessarily imply that they will ‘dress to impress’… if you know what I mean.  For some with abundant power and money comes the inexhaustible ability to costume without qualm, as if oblivious to the myriad of shameless paparazzi hoarding their every movement.  Beaming flashbulbs burn the limelight, screaming strangers call out for one more shot… all waiting in ravenous anticipation to capture that one disastrously memorable moment and then engrain it eternally across the pages of every gossip magazine known to man.  As society, we can’t help but look and wonder… what the hell were they thinking? 

I love fashion as much as the next girl but with the opportunity and means to buy and wear most anything they want, somehow, at least in these photographs… they’ve just employed the catch phrase, “To each their own.”
