Mailbox Miseries Series… Introduction

‘Mailbox Miseries’ Series

Introduction

Written by Sara A. Harris

We all know that life can be such a lovely mess.  It’s tedious and sometimes boring… it’s paper and solitude to a bouncing crazy hectic. But I wanted to impart, what is seemingly, a shared experience among writers and authors alike.  In lieu of recent events, I felt a compelling inclination to share this particular piece of writing (Mailbox Miseries Series)… and those who know me, inevitably, understand. Like many of my stories, life sometimes echoes the same premise while conveying an evocative language of love’s resilience, trepidation, and the resonating complexities of circumstance.  Trust me, it’s not as depressing as it sounds… it’s simply an organic method of enthusiasm and a pitch-perfect pinch of madness.  Why not?

A bit of background…

As with any lifelong aspiration, my journey into authorship certainly hasn’t been effortless (or even graceful), though (reiterating the point) I remain brilliantly resolute to my convictions, knowing perseverance and enthusiasm will keep its promise.

(smile, wink-wink… no seriously, I’m terrified!)

Admittedly, the balancing circus act (!) of heartrending challenges and slush pile rejections–  sometimes unfolding without warning– solidifies the notion that I should probably be charging admission for this sort of entertainment!  At least then I’d be getting paid!

Nonetheless, I sit impatiently… the senses heighten to a rush of clammy palms, and I can’t resist the exhilaration of absolutely loving what I do!

I’m giddily obsessed.  I LOVE writing… anything really! I’m a versatility of literary fiction for children, juvenile/YA, and adult readership… e-mails, blogs, Austen-esque letters, grocery lists, and text messages!  Here’s some shameless self-promotion… Read All About A Girl for my complete author Bio.

At day’s end, I guess you could say that I just can’t help myself.
