For the record, let me just add that I am a fan of The Hills—before anyone freaks out. But just because you’re fully clad in Armani camouflage while licking the spoon of your infamous silver lining…does not make you Rambo-ready! Enter the aforementioned Heidi and Spencer, please. 

Really?  Gimme a break.  However, in lieu of trodden egos rupturing at the thought of sex tape scandals, PR neglect, infidelities, plastic surgery cover-ups, or who looks better without makeup– let’s not forget that ever-prevalent Gossip Girl taboo ad campaign for the CW (previously posted).  Don’t get me wrong, I love knowing what’s happening in the world just as much as the next person, and will absolutely skim the pages of US Weekly while standing at the checkout lane.  But from prep school to pin-up, sometimes it’s all a bit too much.

I mean, they’re getting paid for this stuff, and the more drama they create the higher their ratings skyrocket. Makes sense.  I’m just not sure it set a good example to such a vulnerable era but from one about face to another, it certainly secures the public’s interests.
