Tolkien Adrift… Part One

This is blog entry is arriving much, much later than anticipated, albeit the unexpected (!) power outage may have something to do with it.  But I’ll redeem myself next time. Based loosely on a recent conversation… they say the best things in life are worth waiting for, although how long one is expected to wait is where I begin the inquisition.  I suppose there’s no actual time limit as long as all the far-fetched scenarios, we’re prone to invoke, are removed form life’s little equation.  But on many levels, this antechamber philosophy is true… whether the wait it be for love, accomplishment, a moment of faith, adventure, a glimpse with happiness, prosperity, or even the greatest kiss of your life.

All good things come to those who wait.  And so I do.

But while we’re all desperately trying to locate this inexplicably ordained waiting room, I suppose, we learn a little bit about ourselves along the way, even though some might speculate… what exactly are waiting for?
