Car Apothecary

Published by sarabella at 1:43 pm under Living, Writing Edit This

Replete with the bizzarro modernization of any arbitrary (plot thin) banter happening while cruising down the freeway, this particular mission-provoking afternoon (several days ago) seemed a glimmer of the semi-unusual, which in my family, really isn’t that unusual after all. Anyway, I thought it was worthy of the blogosphere!

A:  Weather isn’t fairing well for a photo shoot.

(She scoffs)

Me:  No…

A:  Gives me a headache.  The weather…

Me:  Yeah, I have one now, actually.

A:  In your temporal junction?

(Trust me, she’s serious.)

Me:  In my what?  Temporal junction?  Who says that?

(Laughing hysterically)

My mother’s recognition in the medical field, at times, astounds me… albeit earning my own medical degree, her over abundance of genius surpasses the likes of most.  No offense.  But in transit to our destination, this fastidious exchange prefaced the droning highway ambiance, the blaring horns, and smoggy winds that lingered just beneath a gunmetal sky… revitalizing what appeared to be something of the dreary.

    That’s hysterical… but I believe it!
